cab from citywalk?

Are cabs easy to get from city walk? I am staying at studio city hotel. With no kids this trip, I could not justify the extra cost of on site. We won't need the FOTL. It is an adult only trip, so I plan to drink. I will have a car, but I don't want to drive. I plan to take the hotel shuttle to the park. However, I am not sure what times I can get the return trip. I think you can walk to studio city, but not sure I want to, especially at night. I don't mind paying for a cab. I have always had a car, so I never noticed if cabs are around. Do you have to call for a cab or are they waiting there for fares?

Cabs are available at the "center hub" of the parking structure between CityWalk and the garage itself. You would need to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the cab area.

Are you talking about Universal Hollywood or Universal Orlando? I'm not familiar with a Studio City Hotel in Orlando.

I don't know which hotel the OP is talking about but there is a Sheraton on I-Drive that's called Studio City.

Thanks. So it looks like there are cabs waiting there for fares. Yes it is the Sharaton. It is the hotel with the big ball on top real close to the park. Nothing like on site hotels, but real cheap. I am using starwood points and it is not many points. It is 3,000 points. For comparison, I am also staying at the Swan in disney for 10,000 points.
