Are you picking the rental up at MCO? If so, you can still take DME to the airport - you don't need to have to actually be flying out.

That answers another question inposted in my thread. Thank you! This is only our second trip, first time flying and renting a car ever. This board has been so helpful!

You could also rent a car on property at the AAA Car Care Center and I believe the Swan & Dolphin. We are going to Vero after Disney and we'll need a rental to drive there...the choice of rental companies are limited but it's still probably cheaper than taking a can to the airport
