We will be down in August and staying 10 nights at OKW in WDW. We plan on visiting Seaworld one day and a day or two at UA/IA. We will have our own car, but two of my son's friends will be coming down for a few nights (under 25). Of course we don't have room for all 7 of us - does anyone know how much the cab fare would run about to get to Universal? or should we make two trips? (Seaworld too). Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if anyone here knows. You might ask on the transportation board. They usually know the facts on cab fares.

You might want to try a town-car service like Tiffany or Happy Limo, or FL Tours (see URLs on Transport board, etc). They usually have rates for van transfers between WDW and USO posted on their websites.

Depending on which disney resort you are staying at it will run anywhere from 25-35 each way.
We usually do a taxi or car service for this frequently. I believe my largest fare was from the wilderness lodge, which was $35!! I did run into a problem once leaving from the royal pacific....there were no taxi's, the wait was over an hour, they were calling car services for everyone. From then on, we use a car service, FLTours, just call before you are ready to leave and they will be there for you. My last fare was $70 round trip with FLTours.

If it is going to cost $70 each day for cab fare it would be cheaper renting a car. We rented a car for 2 days last year for a little over $100.
