Cab fare from Fullerton to DL

We are planning on taking Amtrak from Chicago to Fullerton station. Transportation options are taking the bus or a cab.

Can anyone tell me how much the cab fare would be from there to the main gate of DL?

I found this rate info on the yellowcab.com web site:

$2.95 Flag Drop
$2.60 per mile ($.33 per 1/8 mile)

It's about 5 miles from the Fullerton station to DL, so that makes the fare about $16, plus tip, so figure $20.

It costs us about $20 or so to get from the Fullerton station to the Grand Californian for a van type cab. I don't know if the car type cabs are a different price.

Thanks for the replies. We've been thinking we'd take the bus but I don't know whether I like the idea of dragging luggage onto one. $20, while not cheap, isn't all that bad and it seems more convenient to take the cab.
