Anyone have any aprox total? There will be 4 of us. I was going to do the shuttle for 15 each, but I thought it might be cheaper to split a cab.
Going from SNA to Ramada Maingate.

Thanks in advance for your replies!!

LESS THAN A MONTH AWAY!!:cool1:

As I remember, it was 40 one way, plus tip.

Dobie,

Thanks for getting back to me!

That will be cheaper than the shuttle. Do the cab's offer a flat rate of $40 or does it depend on the traffic?

I see you are from the Tri Cities. Hi neighbor! I'm from Lake Stevens!

Hi yourself! DH graduated from Mariner High!!

And as I recall, it was a flat rate. It was 2008, so it might have gone up a bit, but it will still be cheaper than a shuttle and way more convenient.

I cant recall. My mum made arrangements last time I thought. Do you have to call up the taxi service and tell them your arrangements so you can set the flat rate with them or can you just catch one at the airport? Cause last time we caught one at the airport. But maybe my mum did make reservations. I cant remember.

We just did that last week :cool1: Got in to SNA at about 11:15am. Quick cab ride to the Ramada (i.e. not much traffic on the roads) and fare was about $38. With tip, pushed it over $40 total. Return trip from hotel to airport was a bit slower as it was morning rush hour but still came in right around $40.

The Anaheim Yellow Taxi web site lists flat rate fares from SNA to various zip codes in Anaheim. Most are in the range of $36 to $44, so right around $40 plus tip sounds right.

ETA - I looked up Disneyland's zip, and the Yellow cab web site lists that zip as a flat fare of $36 from SNA.

we use Super Shuttle & with the Entertainment book discount it might be a little bit cheaper for you than a taxi. I priced SNA -> Ramada Maingate and it is a total of $64 rountrip for 4 adults + tip (so $8 per person per trip).

I also have traveled by taxi but paid about $30 one way, which I thought was pretty expensive. I have found that although you need to wait about at airport that Airport bus seems to be the cheapest way to go. You don't need to reserve and they stop at most resort hotels, including our favorite hotel, Ramada Maingate - At The Park.:yay:
