Cab back to MCO

I was wondering about how much it costs to take a cab/taxi back to MCO from CSR. We will be taking DME on arrival and plan to take it back to the airport, but we have Keys to the Kingdom scheduled the morning of our departure. We have the 8:30 tour booked. Our flight leaves MCO at 4:55. I am estimating our DME bus will depart at 2 pm. I am afraid we might not make it back to the resort in time (like if we walk out and just miss a bus). We will have already printed boarding passes and checked luggage that morning at the resort airline check in desk, so I'm not worried about being too late to the airport. Just wondering how long a cab ride it is to MCO and how much it will cost? Thanks!

I believe it's about $40-50 for the taxi. It will take about 30 minutes to get to the airport.

You may want to consider Uber instead of a cab. Saves you about half the money

I would plan now on not making your DME time. The Keys tour was a good 5 hours. Then you need to get back to your resort. Will you have carry on bags stored with BellServices?

It sounds like the OP IS making contingency plans. I have used DME twice, both times the bus back to MCO was quite late arriving at the resort to pick us up (like 30 minutes). So they may be fine.

Factor in you will still need to make it from MK to the taxi pick up area so allow another 30 minutes to be safe. You could just get a rental car for your last day. You can pick it up the afternoon before at the car care center and drop it off at MCO. Especially since your tour ends at 1:30. You don't have a ton of wiggle room.
