CAA..What have you done to the Triptik!?

I just picked up a Triptik today, and what a disapointment! I was surprised when they told me I could pick it up on the same day. Now I know why! It is so much smaller,it no longer has the folded pages where you can open it up to see a detailed map of the area. It is much smaller, harder to read, and looks like they just Googled the map and printed it out. What a huge disapointment. Junk.

I discovered this in Dec. when we drove to WDW. However, I found out that you can get the old style, and I did end up getting the one you are referring to. You need to ask them for the "Classic Trip Tik" and they will make one up with the folded pages. I much prefer this one as well. Apparently, I was told, they are suppose to ask you which one you want, but some of the newer staff are not aware of the old style. If you prefer a certain route tell them that too, or else they assume you want I-95 the whole way, which was also our case. We like the I-81, 77, 26, 95, 4 route.

Oh, I see! I didn't realize you can still get the old one. I guess many are just using the GPS, but when I'm not driving I like to have something to do. So, I just follow along on the map, write down where we got gas, cost,collect receipts etc. It helps time pass a little quicker with something to focus on.

Yes, I asked for I95, but I wasn't detailed enough and they routed us a slightly different way. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated!
