CAA Parking Pass

When you get the CAA parking voucher for the AAA Diamond parking, is this just for location and you still have to pay for parking or does it cover the cost of parking as well?

Unfortunately, the AAA/CAA Diamond Parking Pass only entitles the holder to preferential parking in the designated AAA/CAA Diamond Car Park. It does not confer complimentary parking.

If we were going to have to use the parking lots at WDW, we would park at DTD for free & use the bus system to get everywhere.

Anyone booked a package through CAA and not using their Diamond parking pass? We are going in March and only booked room-only but don't get the parking pass... So I thought maybe someone would just be throwing theirs away if they were not renting a car....

Don't forget that Downtown Disney to parks (except Typhoon Lagoon at some hours) requires making a connection at a resort. In a few cases one leg can be done on foot (no pun intended).

Reasonable worst case time: 90 minutes, excluding full-bus-wait-for-the-next-one. Reasonable record time: 35 minutes.

Yes, that would be fine with us though, we know the bus system inside out. My GF went last year & stayed off site & their hotel shuttle only dropped them off at Epcot & they had to use the bus system or monorail to get everywhere & they managed having never been there before.

There is a post about this going on. Say that you are going to DTD and can not find a spot because everyone else does this also. Its very frustrating, especially when you get inside DTD and no one is there. Please reconsider this practice.
