ca resident ticket question

i;m guessing i know the answer for this but... bf's parents are ca residents and we stay part of the time in ca but our id's are colorado. they want to buy us tickets for an upcomming trip as a gift, can we use tickets that they buy as residents???

I would call DL to ask.. but I would say no as you need to have proof of res to buy and/or use a CA Resident ticket.
 
If they go and can show their So Cal ID then yes, they can buy them for all of you and you can all use them. If they aren't going then no. And as an FYI, the only "special" priced tickets are for So Cal residents, we up here in the Northern half of the state don't qualify for these special ticket deal either. :)
 
From what I've heard, Socal residents are allowed to purchase a few tickets to give as gifts. I don't know what the limit is, but I purchased 5 socal discounted tickets for people who live in norcal. They didn't ask for ids at the front gate, but if you go to the ticket window they may ask for the california id.
 

I called Disney a few days ago and asked about giving them as gifts, since my parents live in SoCal and we live in NorCal. They told me I would have no problem using the etickets that my parents had purchased for us as gifts. I hope they're right :).
