If you had to chose between California Grill or Narcoosee's for dinner, which would you chose & why?

narcoosees - ate there twice recently - excellent food (crabcakes, lobster, almond cheesecake), beautiful view, quiet meal (compared to other places), great service - plus my DH can't find anything he'd like to eat at CG....

You will have many people that will vote for both. I personally like Narcoossee's, it is mine and DH's favorite Disney restaurant. It basically is all about cuisine. Which menu do you prefer? And would you enjoy watching Wishes from up above at the Contemporary or from ground level at the Grand Floridian? Narcoossee's has the BEST filet mignon in the world!:thumbsup2

I've never been to CG, but DH and I have been to Narcoossee's 3 times in the last year. We love it. It has great food, excellent service and atmosphere. On our last trip, we discovered that their veranda is the best place to watch Wishes.

Have to weigh in . . . I love CG! The food is fantastic--all of it--I've never had anything bad there ever, however, some of it is a little crazy--so if you are a picky eater--Narcossees might be a better choice as their menu is a little bit more mundane. CG has sushi and flat breads and a seasonal menu. Their wine list is fantastic and they have great desserts! The best part about dinner at the CG is seeing the fireworks from the top of the building. They have a "patio" that the music is pumped into -- very great!

My biggest complaint about CG, we were there on 4/20/07 is that it is really loud and the noise level reminded me of the food court at the mall (heard too many other people's conversations/loud laughs/family reprimands when I was only trying to talk to my mom).

Next time ask for the Wine Room. It's very quiet
