I found an ADR for 740 on a Friday night and the fireworks are scheduled for 915. We plan on ordering apps, entrées, and dessert. Do you think 740 is too early for the fireworks? We have never been to CA Grill before and I don't know how much time to allot for dinner. Ideally we would like to be eating dessert during the show. There are a few 9 pm adrs but that is too late for my kids to be eating.

What should we wear? Would my husband and son be okay in polo shirts and slacks?

We will be staying at AKL and I'm thinking that unless parking is an issue it might be easier to drive our car. Has anyone had any issues with parking?

Thank you to my Disney veterans!

I think the 7:40 pm ADR is perfect. You may be eating dessert or just finishing when the fireworks start. Just know, not all tables have a perfect view of the fireworks, so you can go out to the observation deck to see them as well. They will hold your dessert (or not clear if you aren't finished) so you can go out and see them if you aren't by a window.

My DH and DS typically wear dress shorts and polos and I typically wear a sundress and flat, fancier sandals than I'd typically wear in the parks. You will see a range of dress there from people wearing suits and cocktail dresses to people wearing more casual clothes.

I can't help you with parking, so hopefully someone else will chime in. Driving would definitely be easier than taking Disney transport. You could also uber/lyft/Minnie Van there and back.

My experience is that for a 740 reservation you get there about 730 and you may have a wait or not. If you want a window table you can ask for one and have a wait for that. Your waiter will be as fast or slow as you want. Plus the adults can always order drinks and apps and relax while the kids order an entree. Even if you’re finished you can hang around for the fireworks. As for dress, anything goes but a polo shirt and slacks would be a nice touch compared to what a lot of people wear.

There should be plenty of parking space.

I think you have a great time for it. We are usually there about 2 hours, and will have an appetier, entree and dessert. On our timeframe, fireworks would be between the entree and dessert.
Dress, think business casual. You will see some very dressed up, others polo and nice shorts.
We have used a taxi, uber, and driven our car. As long as you tell them you have a dinner reservation, we have never had trouble parking. They may scan your magic band or check an ID. We have the TiW card, so we can valet park for free which makes parking even easier.
Depending on where you are seated, you can watch the fireworks from inside or from either balcony. The music is piped into the restaurant and the balconies.
Have fun!

Time is perfect.

We usually drive there without issue.

DH, DSs where slacks and collared shirt (polo or button down) and DD usually wears a dress or maxidress and I usually where dressy capris and top.
