You know the drill....post when you send and share when you receive...we all want to know what you got.....so on that note I will be the first to say I sent my package and received my package!!!! I got a huge box from Nutsy with all sort of Cork Christmas gingerbread people ornaments, a Chain for my keys, a Christmas bear and a Christmas angel. The ornaments were handcrafted and just beautiful. They will definately be Cherished!! Thanks again Nutsy! I know there is more to tell......

Oh goodee.........................I couldn't find the thread, but now I have.............

Ok, yeah I received mine from Liz before I went away on holidays.

I got a Cinderella mirror compact, Cinderella purse with nail polish & stuff in it, a purse calendar & a Cinderella magic towel.

Real cute stuff::yes::

Our packages are all set - should go out today!

:wave2:

mine will bw sent this morning, I am just waiting on the post office to open!

I am on my way to the post office now. Happy exchanging!

Will be heading to the post office shortly to mail my gangs out!!

update: A little delay in 2 of the items we need to send off, so ours will be heading out on Mon.:cool:

Hi All,
I am hoping to have people who are doing this exchange to check in here every now and again so I thought I would put out this question.......or series of questions.......with the holidays quickly approaching, is it best to completely stop the alphabet exchange for the whole month of December...or do the last exchange to be sent out by December 5? Then the next question would be for that last exchange before the holidays get into full swing would you like to change the letter for that exchange to X and go with an Xmas theme.....Now I am not big on using the term xmas and I know that others may feel the same, but I was thinking it might be a nice way to share teh holdiays with friends and also to get that nasty x out of the way...even though I do have X finished...without xmas items.... and for those not wanting to call Christmas Xmas we can just call it Xchristmas or xhanukka....xkwanza...or whatever other holiday I may not have mentioned. Or would you like to forego the letter and send a holiday package? Again I encourage the kids to get involved in this as I know there was a request for a kids exchange and some folks not wanting any other exchanges going on with the ornament exchange going on......( I won't let you know my real feelings about stopping all other exchanges for that one)... I will let the people decide.....please feel free to post your opinions and ideas. I really do want to know what all of you are thinking....if you are more comfortable PM'ing me feel free to do so. Alos if anyone can keep this bumped for me til Thursday, I would appreciate it!!! My work schedule is crazy til Thursday!!
Thanks,
Liz

Good post Liz......................

Bumping for ya............

I don't like Xmas either, but I have no objections to a Christmas themed exchange.:chat:

I don't like "Xmas" either.
My opinion, is keep the alphabet going in order.....gives us more time to think of a good "X"

Mine will be walking out the door tomorrow morning. As to doing a X or christmas or whatever themed one I say go for it if there's enough interest.

:guilty: Never made it to the Post Office:guilty:

We should be all packed up tonight and get to the Post Office tomorrow :moped:

I am all for a holiday exchange::yes::

I think we should do the alphabet in order.:goodvibes

The X part doesn't bother me because X is the sign of Christ in my faith, but I don't want to offend anyone who is of a different belief. I see some positives coming from doing it this way, the least of which it would be much easier to come up with X- for the Christmas season, than to have to come up with a true X item and keep it under $5.00. If you don't want to use X, how close are we to posting H- for Holiday? I would like to keep the exchanges going. I am use to doing it and I would hate to get out of the habit for several weeks. Just my 2-cents:wave: :wave:

I think my gang would like to keep the alphabet going in order. We also have our "X" done. As for doing a "holiday" instead of the alphabet we have no real preference. I think you could keep it with the next letter in line and still have it be a "holiday" type item. We're up for anything!:p

After a VERY BUSY weekend...........I have finally picked up my names today, and will get them mailed either tomorrow or Wednesday!! ::yes::

::MickeyMo I don't see any reason to quit our alphabet exchanges during the holidays. I personally would like to see the letter *X* be moved up and used up now!! I think it would be easier for everyone involved to get this bad-boy done and out of the way!! powellrj had a good thought too ~ *H* should fall very close for the holiday..........(I just checked it out, and if I am correct the *H* would end up with a Dec 5 sign up date!!), so maybe we should just keep in order!? What ever we all decide........I do again say........KEEP going with our exchanges!! ::MinnieMo

My package was sent westward today!

I would prefer to keep going in order. I've only thought as far as "I" and looking for "X" would really mess with my head! JMO

Ours will be mailed out tomorrow. It's heading south and west, but not too far south and west.

My package has been mailed. It has a long way to travel.

Ours will be in the mail tommorrow!!!

I vote for keeping the letters in order!!!

But a Hoaiday exchange works!!

How about a SECRET SANTA!!!
