By request, pics of the food in the RPR Club Lounge

just got back last week - we did rpr club level. the food looks pretty much the same. Breakfast was the best- very plentiful. Mid day they put out granola bars and bags of chips and bowls of nuts. Water, coffee tea and sodas were out all day. 5-7 p.m. looks just like the photos. They had a very good rice and beef dish one night. Beer and wine also. The desserts were great one night - cheesecake, pastries etc. and then one night it was cookies only. The staff were very nice. Joey was the best!

Thank you for the update. Can you take some snacks and sodas back to your room?

Yes you can. We were in a suite a couple of floors down so they helped me load up a tray several times. In the morning before they put out the sodas they would get me some to take to the room for later. If you don't see it out, ask for it and someone will get it for you.

Thank you so much

I will be using club on my trip in Aug. and I wanted to know what is the latest that the room is open.

Great pictures. People eventually ask about this stuff.
No one would normally take pictures of a club room, or the cabanas at the HRH, or the slide, but people want to see what they look like, so good job. I go up in a month, and I'll be snapping pictures.

did you take pictures to add to this thread?

I have a question:

When we stayed at Disney's AKL in concierge, we discovered that although they say you can have wine at a certain time, if you ask any time of the day, they were happy (of course we tipped well) to bring you a beer or glass of wine (maybe at 4 instead of 5 or so).

Do they do that at Universal's resorts, or are they STRICT about 5 - 7 pm?

Just curious.

Really, the fruit and yogurt for breakfast and the bottled water all day are a nice selling point for my family. We can always pick up wine on the way to the resort and have it in the room, no big deal. But fresh fruit every day would be great. It's so hard not to gain weight on vacation!

just wondering how much more club level is? We are paying 126 in Sept and I was just wondering how much more it would be if we did club level instead. Thanks

You have to call and see... And in case you hadn't noticed this is a super old thread, and the offerings most likely have changed.

Or poke around for the date and rate thread and see what other people are paying.

I just bumped this thread because the food offerings really don't change. The concierge showed me a list of what was offered at the PBH and the offerings haven't changed for a long time. They just change daily. What I did notice was they seemed to have better offerings than what was on the menu.:thumbsup2

When we were there at Christmas at the PBH, you had to ask for the bottled water of Fiji which they kept in back.

rates can be anywhere from an extra 60 to 120+

We saw families obviously skipping a regular meal which you could very easily do.

Sometimes they have a sign posted indicating a special on adding club.

We added for $65 per night and it was very worth it. We probably used the spa more than the food--that alone was worth the extra money right there.
