By Popular Request - New December List

To the best of my knowledge, that's true. Companies manufacture for regional differences. For example, I know that the snack cakes made for Quebec are sweeter than the ones for Ontario. This, I have personal experience with.

I guess the French have a higher tolerance for sugar. (No offense meant.)

I am scatterbrained at times I tell ya. We are going to be there Dec 9 -13. thanks for putting this list together. It's really great

My friend to the North can back me up on this but I recall "Canadian" beer bought in Canada is different than "Canadian" beer bought in the states.

Yes, they enjoy a higher Al Keyhalll level in the great white north.:rotfl2:

It's gotta be the water! No.... wait.... it's the hops! Yeah, that's it...the HOPS!! Canadian Hops are "hoppier, happier, hops" than American hops. :lmao:

and a beer? :drinking1

Black Berry Brandy.......

Wow! This is fantastic! There are going to be a whole bunch of us there at the same time. We HAVE to get together while we're there! Maybe a campfire meet and a trek down to the beach for the Water Pageant?

and a Bungaloosh!:stir:

sorry, my threads are melting together....

Nah!!! "skeeters" aren't around too much in December. Besides, the pest management crew at FtW sprays early in the AM (around 4a-5a) for those pesky blood suckers!!!

BTW - Love your pictures! I saw a previous picture of you & I must say.... you are half the man you used to be!! WAY TO GO!!!

Aaaawww, THANKS DES!!!! Ya make me feel like million bucks!!

You SHOULD feel like a million bucks & be proud of yourself for your accomplishment! Believe me,,,, I know it could not have been easy ---- I've lost about 140 pounds.... the same 20 pounds about 7 times!!!:lmao:

I used to think that too, but a friend who's a beer distributor says no. They couldn't afford to keep separate production lines. It's all the same, but still good. Another point though, we pay less for Canadian beer than they do in Canada, because we don't pay their ridiculous taxes.

BTW Moosehead is brewed in Canada and is an excellent beer

:rot fl:
isn't THAT the truth. For as much as I diet, I should be a bean pole!

I gotta confess ya'll.....I cheated. I had my stomach surgically removed because I kept yo-yoing with diets(procedure is called Gastric Sleeve), always gaining back more than I had lost. In my signature pics from 2002, I was about 220lbs, I doubled that size when I quit the Atkins diet, when I finally hit 440lbs and wanted to literally die, I decided extreme actions were in order...and here I am 4 months in the hole, almost 100 lbs smaller at 344lbs, another 125 and I'll be happy. So,...I took the easy way out, but I simply couldnt make a diet work for me, and this works well. I eat what I like, but I can only eat a few bites at a time.

Since when is surgery considered cheating? No, you just took all the pain of dieting in one whack and got it over with.

Rog-

You didn't cheat.... you saved your own life by having that surgery. Look at it this way.... if you needed heart by-pass surgery to save your life, would you consider that cheating?

Nope.... you did what you had to do, and us on the FtW DisBoard are better people by having you touch our lives!!

Keep up the good work!

Debbie

:gulp: You guys are the greatest....:grouphug: grouphug....that way I can touch more than just your lives!!!! Sorry....couldnt help myself:tongue: I think that might be the nicest thing anyone ever said to me before...and I have no idea how to handle it...I'm pretty sure that punching you and screaming "You're It" as I run away doesnt apply anymore.
