Hi Guys,

We are long time UK based DVC owners who would usually Stay in a studio at Disney. However, following a multiple family bereavement we have decided to take some family members with us to 'get away from it all'. Therefore, we are looking at accommodation options for 6/7 people if possible.

Having previously been victims of villa break in and substantial theft several years ago in a 'non traditional' villa environment (basically it turned out to be in a rather run down domestic area with no security etc, we learned a lot very quickly, the police were amazed that it was a vacation home given the area), anyway we would be looking for good security gated and alike, vacation home/villa rental community etc as we have young kids. Anyone that might have such a villa with secure pool area that could accommodate this number on these dates I would be most grateful to hear from.

We are a Disney loving respectful family who would take great care of your vacation home.

Have you considered staying somewhere like Wyndham Bonnet Creek. You will see rave reviews on here for this property. Situated next door to Caribbean Beach its a time share resort but you can rent from owners a really reasonable prices. I always rent from www.vacationupgrades.com who are wonderful and can honestly say on all the times I have stayed there I have never had a single issue. We use to stay at SSR but wouldn't go back now. This place has 6 pools, 2 lazy rivers, slides and lots of entertainment. 1 to 4 bedroom villas (well in the UK we would call them apartments!) Anyway, you can see from my signature how many times I have been and will be there for another 22 nights from 7th August.

I just bought a 4 bed/3 bath house in Windsor Palms with pool and spa but I can't start booking until the end of May. It is 2.5 miles to Disney, gated/manned 24/7. If you haven't found anything by then get a hold of me.
