BWV water view question

We have our reservation for a preferred view studio room but were told that I should call back a few days before check-in and request a water view but they couldn't guarantee anything. This is our first stay in a DVC room at the Boardwalk and just wanted to make sure we get the best chance at a water view room.

You should call back now and put it on the reservation. Don't wait until a few days before the trip.

Odds are that it will be water view anyway. Most of the preferred view rooms face either the canal or one of the pools.

You should be able to add that to your request now. Call MS back and ask to have it added.

If you have a Preferred View - Pool/Garden room booked, you are almost surely going to be able to see some water:

* Could get a view of the canal between the BWV and the Swan/Dolphin Hotels
* Could get a view of Luna Park (main feature pool with the clown slide) as well as the canal
* Could get a view of the quiet pool/Community Hall area as well as the canal
* Could get a partial view of Crescent Lake and the Boardwalk (ask MS to put "view of the Village Green" on your reservation to have a shot at this one).

If you have a Preferred View - Boardwalk view room booked, you are guaranteed a view of Crescent Lake and the Boardwalk.
