I actually started a TR when we got back, but hit the back button and lost the whole thing! So, here it is again...
TRAVEL DATES: Friday, June 11th early a.m. - Monday, June 14th afternoon.
TRAVEL PARTY: Myself, My DD, her BFF and my friend, the BFF'S mom!
REASON TO GO (Do we ever really need a reason??
): Girl's 21st Birthday!
Checked in online, got to the BW after a stop at the supermarket (used a car service) around 12:30 pm. One room was ready! We had two studios.
Room 2125 & 2131. 2125 was the one that was ready. Me and my friend ordered balloon bouquets from Disney Florist for the girls and mousekeeping put them both in the room that was ready, which was a wonderful surprise for our girls to see upon entering.
We then had lunch at Big River Grille and we each ordered this really awesome drink called a Raspberry Ice Pick, which was all liquor w/ a splash of sprite!!
It was delicious! Since the girls were celebrating their 21st, we knew there'd be some
invovled
, so we just went with it and we had a ball! While we were eating we got the text message that the second room was ready! Yeah! We went back and got settled into our own rooms, me and DD in our room and BFF and her mom in their room. We changed into our bathing suits, and sent the girls down to the pool to get a shady area (it was HOT
). We quickly decorated each room while they were out
We did some more decor around the room, and the girls really freaked when they saw it! The above picture is a chocolate mickey head box with little chocolates inside that said "dream", "believe", "magic". This is what they substituted the autograph book and pen with (I asked for a substitute, since she's 21 we didn't want the auto book) on her balloon bouquet.
We headed over to Magic Kingdom, which was open til 2:00 a.m.
and we had a great time. We had counter service at Columbia Harbor House for dinner, since we wanted something light. We had Fireworks Dessert Party ressies at 9 pm. Columbia Harbor House was packed and the service was SOOOOO slow, but we did okay anyway.
Our table at the fireworks dessert party was front and center and the desserts were yummy, the view.....worth every penny, it really was awesome!
We rode all the rides til 2 a.m. It was a WONDERFUL WONDERFUL night! I miss it already!
Day Two will be posted next.
