BWV Studios Availability

How many studio rooms total (preferred and standard view) are there at BWV? I was interested in renting points from someone from Dec. 13-19, 2003, and he said all studios were booked that week. BWV is his home resort and this is still the 11-month window; do studios get booked up that quickly? I was going to buy a BWV resale but if I can't even get into my home resort at my 11-month window then what's the use?

Perhaps they were just looking at standard and not preferred view. It does seem hard to believe they are all gone as today is the first day you could even call for check out on the 19th. Rooms go fast in Dec but maybe someone else who has called today can give you a better idea. They have more one bedrooms at BWV- would you be willing to rent that instead?
PS Actually they are closed today so tomorrow would be the first day to call for a Dec 19th check out

If that's the case, do you think the person just didn't even call for availability? If he didn't want to rent me points he could have just said so instead of lying about availability.

DVC was closed today, so there was no way to check availability.

That time of year is very popular at BWV. I called day by day for a standard view 1 bedroom for Dec 6 to 12. It's possible the first days in your reservation are already booked, especially standard view. If it's someone who advertises alot on the rental board, it's possible they already called for some of those dates for someone else and got the answer on nights that were already sold out.

Maybe he checked the first few days and they were gone so he didn't bother to check the rest- or maybe he checked standard view only - who knows. But the 17th and 18th can not be reserved until tomorrow. Why don't you post on the rent trade board -someone else may be able to help you.

Thank you everyone for your replies. The person who posted these points for rent posted them on the Rent/Trade Board, so I figured he was legit. He only had two posts to his name though...I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

If he only has 2 posts to his name then he must not rent often. There are people on the rent board who reply often to people who are looking for points.
