BWV Studio at Christmastime

OK we are again considering buying DVC. We travel roughly the same time every year so 11mo out planning is not a problem. My question is will we have trouble getting a studio at the 11mo mark at BWV for the time around Christmas and New Year's?

2 years ago we got a standard BWV studio for the week between Christmas and NYE and this year we have a standard 2 bedroom for 4 nights including NYE. You can get it if you call right at 11 months.

Making reservations at the 11 month window should allow you to get that studio at the Boardwalk Villas with no problem.

You will absolutely get a BWV studio at 11 months. I would think 100%. However, you might not get a BW view - it depends on whether you're adding the first weekend and pure luck.

The year I got a BW view studio during that week - another BWV owner was shut out the same day looking for BW view.

I ended up having to rent it. Happy to get a good rate but sad to be so flippin' excited and not go.

HOWEVER!!! this year I'm in a BW view studio from December 19-26. My first BW view since owning BWV the past five years.

Okay this is YOUR THREAD. I so love the BW.

IF you purchase DVC this year..direct form Disney....and you want to stay there...be dure the Guide knows this and can make the reservation as part of secuing the sale. Guides have pockets of Pixie dust that they sprinkle when needed. Worked for us.

I have called 10 months out and got a 2 bedroom during that time. You shouldn't have any problem.
