BWV std and BLT std room requests/tips?

Finally booked our on-site part of our late May/early June trip. Will be staying in a 2 bedroom lock-off standard view at Boardwalk Villas for 2 nights and for the next 2 nights in a 2 bedroom dedicated standard view at Bay Lake Tower! Very excited because it will be our first time at both resorts. Wish it could be for more nights and not a split stay but at least we get to try both resorts. It was the best we could do with such last minute planning. Do BWV and BLT have Community Halls? We stayed at Kidani our last 2 visits and my daughter's favorite memory is making bead necklaces and bracelets in their Community Hall!

Yes they both have Community Halls.

just as a word of warning, the community hall at BLT is functional, but very bland. I can only speak of my experience at BLT and OKW, however..

OKW was clearly built to be a communcity hall, located right next to the pool, and was colorfully decorated to look like at "rec room". BLT appears to be an unused 1BR, and the attendant is kind of set up in the kitchen area. There was little to no decoration, and it kind of felt like we were playing playstation in a strangers apartment. It felt awkward.

If you only have time for 1, try BWV.

Every experience is different, but our DGS loves the Community Hall at BLT the best. He's had great experiences at others, but when it came time for us to just bring him to a DVC (that's coming up in August!) he requested BLT BECAUSE of the CH and the attention he's gotten from the CMs there.

Well, maybe we can fit both of the Community Halls into our schedule and compare! Funny the things kids remember. My 5 year old daughter remembers the Community Hall at Kidani and keeps mentioning the beads (free) she used to make necklaces and bracelets on our visit just before she turned 4. Our time at both resorts is very short but hopefully we can fit in time at the Community Halls. My teen son tends to stay up and get up later so maybe in the morning we can visit the Community Halls before he is ready to leave for the parks. But this trip we are threatening to just leave w/out him and have him meet us in the parks later.
