BWV Standard Views

My extended family will be joining me for a trip to BWV in Nov. We have two- studio's and a Two-bedroom. When I originally made the reservation in March, they were all Preferred-View. I waitlisted for Standard-View (for point savings) for all the rooms, and they all finally came through (the 2-bedroom just yesterday). My question is, where are the standard-view rooms located (I assume everything to the "left" on the Resort Map that doesn't face either the BW or Pools/Water). Any suggestions on location requests for Illumination-View?

The standard views are along the front driveway down to the pond and across from the tennis courts (although those may now be preferred). We had a standard 1 bedroom last year on the 4th floor across from the bus stop, perfect Illuminations view.

We had a standard view 2BR a few years ago that looked out over the front entrance. I thought that was fine, because I enjoyed watching the activity when I sat out on the balcony, and at night the lights were really pretty.

We also had a standard view unit last Christmas facing the driveway. It was fun to "people watch" when we were out on the balcony since there were always people coming and going. We could see the high fireworks during Illuminations.

The best room location to request is upper floor away from the elevators. That will give you the best view of Illuminations.

We get a standard view each time...I love looking out the front of the resort...

I always request to be as far away from the elevators as possible and the view from these villas is very good. Good Illumination fireworks view, view of TOT and view of Fantasmic fireworks plus you can hear all of Fantasmic and some of Illuminations.

All your previous responses are of course correct. It is a funny thing however, that when we first toured BWV, one of the things we thought was special, was being able to set-out on those balconies along the entry drive in such a wonderful place as BWV. Imagine how THOSE are the standard view rooms! What a place!
