This may be hard (impossible?) to answer without knowing a room number...But if staying in a standard view room at BWV, is it easier to take your own luggage in at the main entrance, or (looking at overhead Google Earth pics) easier to park near the tennis courts and enter that way?

DUH...forgot to say...its a studio...and we will have a car...and i have no problem moving my own luggage!

With standard view, you could be closer to the room using the entrance near the tennis courts but unless you are on the first floor, you are going to be carrying luggage up steps.

I would park with the luggage in the trunk until you find out where your room is. If it's not near the tennis courts or on a high floor, I would drop the luggage off at the entrance with your family and then repark the car and then join them for the walk to the room.

Thanks Debbie.
We've never stayed at BWV, I'm not sure of the parking layout (other than what I can see in the overhead pics). Is that lot near the tennis courts the closest self park to the main entrance? From the pics, it looks to me like there is a lot right across from the bus stop, but i'm guessing that's a valet lot??

The issue would be if you weren't on the ground level. If you had a villa like I had, it would work nicely. I was ground level, just inside the door to the walkway to the bus stop.
Otherwise, you could end up walking all the way down that hallway, and it's a long one, and then going up the elevator and possibly all the way back down that hallway again, but on a higher level.

Thanks Debbie.

If you're looking at the resort map the self-park lot is on the right and the valet is on the left. There may be more self-park further left after the valet lot but I've never parked over there.

My guess is that bringing your luggage in through the main entrance is the best bet. Unless you're on the first floor the walk from the elevator is going to be better than carrying the luggage up the stairs.
