BWV Standard view. What can I expect?

My family and I are making our 1st DVC trip Feb 2-9, and we are staying at the BWV. Our home is the AKV, but no 1Bd Rm avail. We actually have three trips planned this yr. For that reason, I did not want to splurge points on views, and rented a "standard" view room. What kind of view might I expect? And one more question, How is the pullout in the living room area? Will two adults be OK on them for a week? :confused3

Standard view is out the front, rather than the water side. It's just fine, and you might see some wildlife in the pond on that side, depending where you are. All the villas we've had in the last few visits have had the new style pull-outs, which are very comfortable.

You can expect a view of the drive way into the BWV or the pond and parking lot at the end of the hallway. If you are on an upper floor you should have a view of the EPCOT fireworks. The farther from the elevator and the higher the floor, the better the view. We only book Standard or Boardwalk view. We love the standard view. It's a great option to save points.

The new couches are better than the old. I think comfort may depend on the size (and how much they like each other) of the adult guests. My two sons (6'1' and 6'4') had to share the couch for part of our last trip. They weren't thrilled but made it through the trip without killing each other.

Thank you for the response, I was beginning to think that nobody loved me.....

This visual might help you understand where you'll be. You can see that the Standard Views (Green Line area) are as described accurately by previous posters.

I agree with HBC that the new sofa sleepers are better than the old. Two adults? Well, that could work but wouldn't be my first choice of arrangements. Good luck! :)
