BWV Standard during 11 month?

I am thinking of renting points for a 1br standard during marathon week. What are the chances of getting it since it just opened up. I have contacted a couple BWV owners but no contact back. Just trying to see if I should keep trying or is it a waste. Thanks

Right now, 1/7 is soldout for standard and boardwalk view studios.

I bought DVC in 1999 when the only WDW choices were OKW and BWV. I paid a little more for BWV (OKW was only available resale) so that I would have that 11 month window, especially for early December. Never regretted that decision.

1BR's are often available for awhile after studios sell out. I'd keep checking with an owner to rent.

FYI - it looks like your still a DVC owner and can view the availability yourself with the resort availability tool under the vacation planning tab.
