BWV sea-racer rental question

my DS 19 doesnt have a drivers liscence. the only teen on long island that doesnt want to drive

we are all interested in renting the racers for a bit while we are at BWV .

my question is can he rent them since he doesnt have a liscence?

I'm not sure of the rule because of age, but they don't rent boats out at the Boardwalk...

Requirements:

All of our Personal Watercrafts are capable of holding up to 3 people with a combined weight under 400 lbs.

Drivers must be over 16yrs of age and must bring either a state issued drivers license or permit and a photo I.D. with them at the time of check in. No exceptions will be granted.

A credit card is required to be held as a damage deposit.

Minors under the age of 18 must have an adult present to sign waivers prior to departing on your trip.

True... but you are more than welome to walk AROUND the boardwalk to the YC and rent them there at the Marina

If what Janet posted is correct... just have him get a permit (simple eye and computer test here) Heck, most the answers to the test can be found online

When I rented a Sea Raycer boat two summers ago, I had to show the Marina folks my Driver's License. I was awfully glad I had it with me otherwise they told me they could not rent the boat to me. By the way, I am w-a-y older than dirt so it wasn't a question of age.
