BWV Room Request Help

Hi All,

I'm staying at the boardwalk villas for the first time (studio) and have a reservation for Garden/Pool view (as it was the only one available). Does anyone know if any of these rooms have a view (partial, full, whatever) of the boardwalk area? If so, what numbers or area should i request?

The Village Green view studios have a partial boardwalk view. This is the area facing the lawn between the Inn and the Villas on the boardwalk side, across from the boat dock. Studios only.

Thanks for the help. HOw long in advance do you recommend making a room request? 5-7 days? And is it similar to regular rooms in that i should call the resort directly?

make all room request thru MS. nothing is guaranteed

You can't call the resort directly..you will call a number for BWV but you will get a call center. And with DVC villas, it's hard to make requests. You can call MS and have them add 'village green view' to your reservation, but it won't be a sure thing. I have had much less success with getting my few requests met at DVC resorts vs regular resorts. Best I have been able to do is sometimes get a higher up villa..but that's only been about 50% of the time.

In the dozen years we've owned, we've had a request met at BWV once, and it was to have our rooms close together for my sister's cancer recovery trip.
