BWV request question

Hi all ! Excited waitlist came thru for BWV Dec 20-27. We have a 1 bedroom , standard. My worst fear is to be near the pick up /drop if for luggage with those cages.. what shall I request to be away from that area ? I dont care about distance from lobby, Elevator, etc. Should I call DVC member services with this request ?

I’d try requesting “close to canal.” That would put you as far from the driveway and luggage area as possible with standard view.

You need to submit your request to MS, so you can call or use the Chat feature on the member website. There used to be an option to email them but it may not be available currently.

ETA if you’re close to the canal, you can take the stairs down and be halfway to DHS!

I request “close to tennis courts”. I have had the absolute last room! We love it.

We are exactly like you when it comes to requests at BWV standard. We have been near the luggage area once before and never again hopefully. We are here right now and I requested “Far from the elevators.” It worked out for us and we are about three or four rooms from the end. We used our pedometer and it is approx 200 yards from the elevator. Lol. And as mentioned above it is very nice to be close to those stairs!! However, I do like the suggestion of requesting to be near the canal. That may be a better one to get this location! We love it.
