I'll bet that is what we'll get. Elevator noise can be a bit bothersome for me but oh well. I always have ear plugs along.

I agree. Call MS and ask them to put in notes that you want quiet room but make no other requests. I find that you're more likely to get your request when you make just one.

Hi everyone! We are headed to BWV in December and have a 2BR standard view! We would LOVE a renovated room because the extra bed would be INCREDIBLE and make everyone more comfortable!! Does anyone know which of the 2BR standard views are refurbed to request? Thanks!

Just request a renovated 2-BDRM. When you start requesting room numbers you are more likely to be disappointed. When I made our reservation for our 1 BDRM Std. View for this past Oct, I did not know a renovation would be in progress. I requested a room totally on the opposite side from where we were placed. However, we were extremely happy with our location, the view, and receiving a renovated room was icing on the cake!

What do you mean about the extra bed? They only put the extra beds (flip down TV thing) in garden/pool view studios.

No way! I thought all refurbed rooms were getting a murphy bed? We have a 2BR so I figured the studio portion would have the murphy bed ... am I wrong?

Yes. Only the studios in garden/pool view from what I gather. Was just in renovated 1BR stand view and no flip down TV or extra bed, sorry.

Yes it is only studios so that they can sleep 5 instead of the previous 4. All other rooms have the same number of beds and same occupancy as before.

I thought BW didn't have dedicated 2 bedrooms? At least, that is what it says on the first page of this thread.

I thought they did, but the point the poster was making is that they were only added to the studios that are dedicated studios and that are not used as part of the lock-offs.

I think there is misinformation going on here. AFAIK the studio portion of all renovated 2 bedroom units at BWV are getting the fold down murphy beds. There are no dedicated 2 bedroom units at BWV, they are all lock-offs. So if you book a 2 bedroom and it is renovated you will get the extra fold down bed.
