Not much different than this bed at VWL and VGF and now PVB.

It is longer than that bed in the BWV studios. That bed is quite short. My 5' 11" DH can lie on the murphy beds. No way could he fit on the BWV bed.

I've seen both and I agree. The BWV bed is smaller and has a thinner mattress, pretty much the size of a crib mattress. Plus with the rails on the ends, there's no room to stretch. It will be interesting to see if they take these out. They are only in the dedicated studios, not connecting.

It would be awesome if they put in a regular table and chair set in those.

Look at the pillows that are propped up on the deacon's bench in the BWV photo. Those are at best the same size as the seat of the chair next to the VWL murphy bed and might even be a little smaller than the seat. On the VWL bed you could definitely get 5 and more likely 6 of those down the length of the bed and 2+ across the width. On the deacons bench it would be a definitely 3 to perhaps 4 for the length and 1+ for the width.

Does that mean they are adding a fifth sleeper only in the studios and the 1 bedroom will still only accommodate 4?

They can't fit the murphy bed in the one bedroom because of the connecting door to the studio to make the lockoff two bedroom villa. The space isn't long enough.

It just makes me a little sad - I liked the refurb they did just a few years ago and am still very surprised they are doing another so quickly. I just really really hope that they are paying more attention to detail than they did at VWL.

Staying here now in a studio and I also like it the way it is. Not that I am not amenable to a refurb if it is done well with appropriate theming.

This studio is in very good condition. Other then the fact someone smoked, I am very happy with it.

I also have a coffee table. Did these come with the last refurb? I can't actually remember because it is the same as the one bedroom coffee table and I switch back and forth between the different size villas. Looked on Allears at the pics and video and did not see the coffee table in the studios.

Just like VWL, only the Studios at BCV & BWV are getting a pull-down sleeper in 2015.

DVC allows 5 in 1-bedrooms (except values at AKV), but the resort won't provide bedding for the 5th (unless in pack n play) in 1-bedrooms with a stated occupancy of 4.

Does this mean the two bedroom look-off max occupancy will increase to 9 now as well? I have a Late Aug. stay booked at BWV, and was wondering if it would increase and the Rebrub be completed by then.

DVC already allows 9 in most 2-bedrooms, they just won't provide any additional bedding or linens beyond what's already in the villa. The 2-bedroom lock-offs where they've added the pull-down in the Studio would have the additional bedding, the dedicated 2-bedroom would not.

The only exception to the 9 in a 2-bedroom is the Values at AKV Jambo House where you can have 9 only if one is an infant under the age of 3.

BWV does not have dedicated 2 bedrooms, they are all lockoffs.

That's a good assumption. So all 2BR's at BWV will be occupancy of 9 since they are all lock-offs.

hope someone posts a pic of the renovated rooms! We will be in a standard studio in April, would be nice to get a redone room!
