BWV Refurb w/photo link

I'm currently staying at the BWV and walked around the building yesterday. On the first floor all the way at the end of the hall they are working on the last 4 rooms. They are painting the door on the preferred side blue and the standard view side a red. This is a change from being all green.

The hallway is also decorated differently. The wall paper below the chair rail is now gone. It's painted a yellowish green and the upper portion of the wall is now wallpapered. Its a green and yellow vertical strip paper.

I looked into one of the rooms they were working on and the furniture was all gone along with the carpet.

I've attached a link to the photo's I took. Sorry no photos of the inside of the room. There was people in there working and they didn't know I was there. Didn't want to get anyone into trouble.

I have been hoping that someone would post. If you see any of the workers maybe they would tell you what is being replaced (furniture? TVs? stove and frig? stacking washer/dryer?) I am dying to know how far the rehab will go inside the units.

There was definitely work going on inside the room. Looked like plaster dust was all over the room and since the hallway was also done it seems like it more then just a new TV for the rooms.

We stayed there 3 years ago, had a fantastic stay, but the resort was in need of TLC; I am glad to hear its getting some.

I walked around BWV last Thursday, and it looks like they more or less stopped, at least temporarily, the exterior rehab.

On the exterior, all the standard view rooms have been done, and about 70% of the area overlooking the leisure pool, and the community hall building.
Other than that, little else has been done except for a few small sections of roofing including the 'Dueling Pianos' building.

There was no scaffolding up anywhere, except for a small bit of scaffolding around the 3 chimneys close together on the roof of the section overlooking the village green.

Which rooms were being refurbished -- the standard view or preferred view rooms? We'll be in a 2BR standard view unit in July and we usually ask for a room across from the bus stop and I'm just wondering which rooms are likely to be finished by then. Thanks.

Room 1135 is on the posted pictures, that's way at the end of the standard views (near DHS), with quiet pool view across the hall.

I like the hallway pictures. It definitely needs brightened up. Maybe the halls will not seem as long......
