BWV Red Building Update

Anyone recently returning have an update on the old DVC building. Is the tent still up? Have they done anything with the Crest of the Wave building where the models used to be?

We left on the 23rd of Dec. and the tent was still up. I didn't check it out too closely, just noticed it from the boat to MGM.

We were there 12/24-12/27 and were in room 3006. This room is way down the hall and only a few doors down from the attic. We looked out over the white tent. We had a standard view room booked so I guess the white tent was standard. All in all, it was not a bad view. It was quiet, and not many people down that far. Fine with us! Nice view of the canal, partially obstructed, but here in NE we are used to looking out and seeing white stuff

I can't wait to see what they do with the boardwalk level where the old models were. I can't imagine a room where people are walking by outside all the time. Especially next to Jellyrolls.

And yet another reason why, IMHO, the standard view rooms (that overlook the entrance) are such a good value!

They have said the 2nd floor rooms will not be available during the renovation -- makes me think they are planning on making the space into more two-story grand villas.
