BWV Questions....

We are renting points for our upcoming trip!! We are really excited!!

I have two questions....

1. How big are the refrigerators in the studios?

2. Are there BBQ grills somewhere on property to cook out?

The fridge in in a BWV studio is a large dorm fridge. The ones that would go up to your hip, not the small cube kind.

And there is a picnic area with tables and a grill down by the tennis courts on the Villa side of the complex, which I never knew...

We have used the grill a number of times but just make sure you have your own charcoal and lighter fluid...it is very hard to find on WDW property...The first time we used it they told us they sold it at the General Store...nope...luckily the gas station across from the BW had small bags....

We fit a large amount of food in the fridge, we had 2 .5 gals of milk, oj, capri suns, hot dogs, cheese, cokes for dh & I, we did put some frozen waffles in the top "freezer" section and turned down the temp., they held up fine for the 6 days we were there.

Go to your neighborhood HD or Lowes and look at their selection of mini fridges, the size in the studio is somewhere between a 2.7 cuft and a 4.4 cuft. That will give you a better visual of what you could or couldn't fit in a studio fridge at WDW.

Thanks everyone for the info.....we love to grill with charcoal and my DH was so glad to hear about the grills!!

I'm also trying to plan our menu for the time that we spend eating in the studio....

Since we will only have the microwave...does anybody have yummy things to cook in the microwave?
