I was just able to book us for the first time at BWV next April and I have a couple of questions.

1. Can you walk to the neighboring resorts - Yacht and Beachclub and Swan and Dolphin? We hope to eat at some of the restaurants at these hotels.

2. When going to opening of Epcot do we still get to go through the International Gateway or do we take a bus to get to the main entrance?

3. How long does it take for to walk vs taking the boat to DHS?

Yes, you can walk to the Swan & Dolphin and Yacht & Beach Club Resorts from the Boardwalk Resort.

There is no bus service to the main entrance of Epcot, you enter at the International Gateway. You would either walk or take the Friendship boat.

The walk to DHS is probably 10 to 15 minutes depending on how fast of a walker you are.

1. Certainly. It's an easy walk around Crescent Lake to all the resorts.

2. Yes, International Gateway. You'll walk through the UK and Canada to Future World.

3. I think it usually takes us about 15 minutes to walk, more or less depending which "wing" we are in. BW is the last stop for the boat on the way back, so if we ride we get off at the Swan/Dolphin and walk back to the BW. If you time the boat right on the way there, it is probably quicker, but its easy enough for us to walk.

Enjoy your stay!

The Dolphin has a wonderful outdoor dining spot called the Cabana. Weather should be perfect in April to enjoy a nice lunch out by the pool.

Thanks for the info. I'm really excited about staying at the Boardwalk. We've never been here before, even to check out the restaurants.

We just got back from Boardwalk...we tried Shula's at the Dolphin -- pricey but oh soooo good. Also did Cape May buffet at Beach Club which is always good too. Flying Fish is another pricey but wonderful. When we stay at Boardwalk our room is always within sniffing of Big River Grille so of course a hamburger is usually in order. Have fun! It is the best spot in Disney. We love Boardwalk and hope you have a good experience there!
