Hello
We have a 9-night stay at the Boardwalk Villas booked in January 2023 using rented DVC points. We have Preferred View -- which I think means Pool/Garden view? -- in a studio. I think we can ask the owner of the points to put in a room request for us -- which I know would not be guaranteed. What sort of request would you suggest? We would like as nice a view as possible -- with a moderate to quiet noise level. The thing I am most excited about with staying at BWV is the chance to walk to Epcot -- or perhaps Hollywood Studios -- are there particular areas to request based on that? We do not have any mobility issues. Thanks very much for any advice. :)

Some of The studios overlooking the village green have fabulous balconies, nearly the same size as the room! We could just barely see Epcot fireworks from our room. We loved that location but I wouldn’t call it quiet. The rooms overlooking the DVC pool will be quiet and closer to HS.

For quiet and near DHS, I'd request Near Tennis Courts. That would put you with a view of the Villas Pool (the quiet pool, not the noisy Luna Park Pool) as well as a very short walk to DHS. The other quiet view would be View of Croquet Lawn, but that puts you at the end near Jellyrolls, which is sort of equally far from Epcot and DHS. The Village Green view is lovely but can be noisy, especially if you get a studio above the breezeway between the Boardwalk and the Luna Park Pool.

Above suggestions are good with one additional point. If you put in a request for room overlooking the Village Green, make sure it is accompanied by a second request for higher floor. The rooms are on 2 through 5 there, and much of the first floor is occupied by Wyland Galleries, which has high arches that almost totally block any views of those with second floor rooms above Wyland. See attached photo looking across the green at Wyland and the studios above it. Notice how the secod floor room balconies are under the arches

Thanks to you all for taking the time to reply with helpful info and photos. I really appreciate it. We might go for something with the chance of being a little noisier and ask for the high-floor village green view. I know I will be happy where ever we end up really because it is like a dream come true to get to stay at one of the Epcot resorts. Thanks again. :)
