Would it be fun for 11 & 13 yr old boys? I know it will not be close to as good as BCV SAB but is it still fun?

Thanks

It's got a fairly nice slide. My 13 year old son spent some time there. If your boys are big pool fans, they'll enjoy it. If they want more of a water park, then it probably won't fit the bill. The new water area at SSR is more interactive, and the one planned for AKV looks good too.

My kids who are around that age enjoy the Luna Park Pool. In terms of "total sliding experience," the Clown/Coaster slide is arguably in the top 2-3 of all those at any Disney Resort. No, Luna's not a "mini water park" like SAB over at the BC, but the shade situation is better and there are more "quiet" nooks for those who want to sit away from all the poolside hub-bub. Frankly, if Disney added a zero entry area (like they did to a previously existing pool at the Contemporary) and full poolside food service, Luna would be perfect.

When our kids where this age, they LOVED the slide at BWV. I couldn't get them off of it or out of the pool. I like this pool area because there is a nice amount of shaded areas, and you don't have to sit on top of the pool (noisy) to be in line of site with your kids. Also, the poolside bar offers very good sandwiches, chips, etc, and the quiet pool/community hall is just a short walk "behind" the slide. I've seen the pool busy, but not alot - mostly "roomy". It's a good choice. Most people will vote for SAB, I had taken my kids over there, before it was off the list for pool hopping. I personally diddn't like the fact that I had to be on top of the pool, if not in it, to keep an eye on them, as it winds around and is easy to lose site of each other. Also, very very busy, almost impossible to find a chair without going very early. The slide doesn't come close to BW slide - IMHO. Have fun planning....
