BWV pool rehab

No response to my question two weeks ago, so I'll try again:

Does anyone know the scheduled dates for the pool rehab at BWV in September ?

I hadn't heard BWV was going to have a pool rehab. The last Vacation Magic we received mentioned Vero's pool would be closed from 9/10-9/28 for re-surfacing.

I seem to recall a post about the pool being under rehab during September, also. I think it was in a lengthy report that someone (maybe Doc? can't remember) posted after/about an annual meeting. Hope this helps! (I know we are going in November and the rehab wasn't going to be during our trip, but I sure would wonder how a trip would be with the pool closed!)

The BWV-GM reported that the Luna Park pool will be closed for rehab during Sep, 2001. No specific information was provided about the dates in Sep. I'm sure more information will be available as time progresses. I guess BWV guests will be "forced" to use Stormalong Bay during that time!

We just returned from BWV 2/9, we went to the quiet pool they have there so are they closing both pools or just the Luna Pool?..Marianne <IMG SRC="/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif" alt="confused">

Though there is really very little on what the rehab will be if it actually occurs, the one thing you can probably feel safe on is that they won't close both pools at once--even at other resorts Disney never closes the main pool and quiet pools at once when it is refurbishing.

Since information about the possible pool rehab seems difficult to confirm, I asked Member Services, and got the following answer from Kimberly:

To my knowledge the only pool that will be going down for rehab in September
is at Disney's Vero Beach Resort.

Disney's Vero Beach Resort will be closing the swimming pool for rehab. The
start date will be Monday, September 10, 2001. The pool will close for rehab
at the close of the day on Sunday, September 9th. Our goal is to re-open the
pool on Friday morning, September 28, 2001 meaning, the pool will be out of
service for two consecutive weekends.

Actually, there is the option of three pools at Boardwalk, isn't there? Luna Park, the quiet pool and then the pool for thw boardwalk Inn? A pool rehab shouldn't be much of a concern at BWV as it would be at Vero where there is only one pool.
