BWV Pool Rehab

When booking my room I requested a quiet pool view and just found out that it will be under construction the week I'm there. Should I change the view? Or should the construction not really bother us? Opinions are appreciated.

personally, i would change it to "not quiet pool view" ASAP.......simply b/c we use the balcony a lot. the views & sounds of machinery, workers yelling, tarps, etc would detract from that magical "far away from real life" feeling for us.
(also, if anyone in your party naps during the day, remember that is when the rehab will be going full force ~ you very well might find the noise intrusive).

given that you are still a few months from check-in, i would def request a non-rehab view.

btw, we're staying at the BWVs also (BW view, so the rehab will only affect my self indulgence of sitting by the pool with a good book . hopefully, they will get it done sooner than expected, as happened with luna park).
so if you see someone with a "lime green mickey head" hanging from their baggalini , say "hi!"

we just stayed at BWV and had a view of luna park pool under construction. We were on the 5th floor and I could hear the men working on the pool in the morning. I would definitely move your request. However, I did ask not to be near luna and I got put there anyway.

I would change the request if you think it will bother you, and then reiterate that request when you check in. Not only remind them of the request, but give them a reason why. Something along the lines of "Were you able to meet my request not to be near the quiet pool construction? Our children take naps in the afternoon, and the noise could really be disruptive. I'd love a room in a quiet part of the resort." etc. If they know why you don't want something, then they know where to put you so you get the closest thing to what you want.

Yay!! I get excited when I here other Disers are going the same time as me. And what a coincidence!! I'll be sure to be sporting something lime green as well.

And I did resolve to change the view to non-quiet pool and I'll be sure to emphasize it again when I check-in.
