BWV or OKW which one for wait list

We have reservations for a one BR standard view at BWV for the nights of February 12 thru 14. Everything at all of the DVC resorts are booked for the night of the 15. We are on the wait list at this time for BWV.

Would we be better off switching to OKW and being on the wait list there or just staying at BWV (our Home) ? We really do not want to change resorts in our short stay so what wait list is the best one to fulfill our request.

That week is popular because of the holiday and school vacations. People tend to book it at the 11 month window and than decide later if they are really going. Be patient. I had 2 different ressies going last year and they did eventually clear on the waitlist. I would make a cash backup just to be safe though.

I think your BWV waitlist will open but it might be preferred view not standard if it does

Why not call on Monday and ask if you can wait list at all of the resorts for the full four nights? That way only is all four nights open up, you would get it. I have never done this and don't know if it's possible but it might be worth a phone call try.
