BWV or Boulder Ridge for July 14-18?

Want to take my 2 grandchildren ages 7 and 6. DH and I were just at Disney this past March and stayed at BWV. Saw the construction at Boulder Ridge but with the opening of Copper Creek around that time in July and greater availability at Boulder Ridge than BWV, which would you choose? The kids will want to use a pool. We will also want to spend most of our time at MK. Thanks!

The new pool is supposed to be open by then giving you two pools (only one with a slide) and a good amount of the construction should be complete by July so I would vote VWL (BRV). Given it's proximity to MK that will also work well for you and it might be a nice change of pace from your last stay.

CCV screams "new," including redone pools, a new quick service restaurant, the new cabins to see along the shore, new rooms, and as normal human beings we cannot and should not avoid it when given the choice.

When will it be available for booking? I'm looking in October (DVC booking engine) and it is not an option.

We are also taking our grandchildren during that time but they are 15 and 17. We chose to stay at BLT to be convenient to Magic Kingdom (my granddaughter's favorite). Boulder Ridge would be great for kids and I agree that the construction should not be too bad by then. Transportation by boat or bus is very quick and convenient. Enjoy your trip with the grandchildren!

The slide at BWV is better IMO than the WL slide if that's important. The new villas pool will have zero entry though.

When will it be available for booking? I'm looking in October (DVC booking engine) and it is not an option.

April 26th is the date when non-CCV owners can start booking at CCV for anything 7 months or less out.
