we are trying to decide between the two resorts. we will have a 2BR either way, with grandparents joining our family of four for a few days. anybody feel one place is larger or better ?

BCV is a smaller property (Villas, that is) and you can park close to them. I enjoy their Marketplace, great sandwiches, salads and gelatto. Easy walk to Epcot. Not to mention the pool. "Views" aren't as great as BWV. BWV has alot of action, parking is far away unless you do valet and the 'hallways' are pretty long. It's a toss up on what you want. I own at BCV and love it, this October my dh and I are staying at BWV and are welcoming the change of scenery. Each has their good and bad. Room wise, they're both great. I prefer the dining table set up over BWV but that shouldn't be a deciding factor.

If you want the second bedroom to have 2 Q beds, it will have to be BCV, and then you have to request specifically the dedicated with 2 Q's. The BWV has the BW views that you may get. Both of those special things are easier if you own and book before 7 months, but right at 7 months you may have a chance for either, right then or with a waitlist.

I've stayed at both (split stays between the 2 resorts twice). BCV has a nicer pool area, more CS options. BWV has unbeatable views in the BW view rooms and a great place to sit in the morning with coffee and watch the Boardwalk awaken (by Bellevue Lounge). The rooms are similar-I prefer the shower curtains in BWV but the fact that BCV has coffee tables to put your feet up while watching TV.

BWV 1 and 2 bedrooms also have coffee tables.
While we prefer the BW view, I think Bobbi's comment about the ability to book 2 beds in the second bedroom at BCV may be vert important (all BWV 2 bedrooms have a bed and a sofabed in the second bedroom). Of course it may be that grandparents will have the second bedroom to themselves and they might actually prefer having a bed and a sofa rather than 2 beds. Depending on the age of the kids the great pool at BCV might also big the deciding issue.

The two bedroom at BWV will always be a lock off - two entrances into the villa - one in the main portion, one in the second bedroom portion (the studio part). There will also be a kitchenette in the second bedroom.

BCV is very quiet, BWV more in the midst of all the action. If you have a car, parking will be much more convenient at BCV where you can park right next to the villas. At BWV, you'll have to hike up the hill to the entrance of the building from the parking lot.

BCV has two elevator banks, BWV only has one set of elevators.
