BWV in April question

I own at SSR but want to stay at BWV in April. What are the chances I can get a room at BWV if the earliest I can book is mid to late September? Just wondering. Thanks

I think you will be ok if you don't try for a standard view room right at Easter. In June I called and got a one bedroom at BWV with a 10 day notice!

Last year I called December 27th '05 (oh yes I did) and got a studio for the last week of April '06 at the Beach club. I had my choice at either BCV or BWV and I picked beach club. I will be trying for BWV studio the same week '07 at the 7 month mark. I am not expecting to have a problem.

There is some risk you may not get days you want if you are talking about the two Easter break weeks, better other weeks although very difficult to get either a standard room or a boardwalk view.

Even though its the week after the week after Easter, some places in Alabama have Spring Break that week.

You may be okay. I did this for a friend last year, but we booked in August. They could not get BW view but got preferred.

Unless you're trying to go Easter week you should be fine...and even Easter week might not be a problem because the points are SO high that many of us avoid it! I typically don't book my spring trip (March or April) until September/October, and have never had a problem getting a ressie at BWV, though I usually can't get standard view.

Last year I called in Sept. for each day I needed. I was told on one of the days, that I got the last studio. I got a pref. pool view. It was very nice, top floor, close to the elevator(one room away) and had one of those daybed things in it too. It was perfect for my family. My DD3 slept on the daybed w/ a rail and my DD1 slept in a portacrib. We were able to keep the sofa as a sofa, so it was nice to have that kind of room.

This was during Easter week. I would call each day just to be safe.

We're off that same week in Connecticut too - I wonder if a lot of people actually have that week instead of the Easter week??? (hope not )

Oh, I like your thinking! We gave DS and his new wife a week at DVC as a wedding gift. They're taking us up on it the last week in April (22-27), and are hoping for a BW view studio at BWV. DS keeps asking me every time we speak about the reservations even though I told him I can't call til September. We're all really hoping they get it. Thanks for the encouragement-sounds good!
