BWV Grand Villa??

We have reserved our first Grand Villa at the BWV for the first of December. I believe I read that there are only 7 grand villas. Does anyone know if any of them are handicapped accessible? I want to make a note with member services that we do not want one, if so.

Yes, 3047 is HA. It is close to the elevator and a 1 Story GV; Master & 1 BR - HA.

Sandy - Thanks for such a quick reply. Does that mean there is no jacuzzi tub in that room??

I thought all BWV Grand villas were 1 story, but last year was on the 5th floor with a Boardwalk view, and walked by a GV when the door was open. I was surprised to see a staircase leading up, or so it appeared. Has anyone ever stayed there?

You sure about that count for SSR? IIRC, the POS listed 2 per building, which would be 8 in Phase One and 16 more in Phase Two.

Top floor GV's are 2 stories. The 2nd story goes into the "attic" space of the building. A CM explained that to me last summer when giving me a GV tour.


ceejay13 - That's all the info I hve on the HA GV. I haven't actually stayed in it. Another DIS reported about it. Hopefully they will be reding and answer your question.

I haven't been inside a BWV GV, so I cannot say from personal experience, but I can't imagine the set up for the GV Master bath would be different from the Master bath of the BWV 1 or 2 bedroom units. In those, the HA units do have the jacuzzi tub. The separate shower is the roll in version.

That was the number (12) I read somewhere. Hopefully Doc will have the definate answer for us.

We've stayed in a 2-story GV! They have 2 bedrooms upstairs, each with a bathroom. The washer/dryer are also upstairs. We loved it! It was wonderful!

We just returned today from the BW. We had a 2BR this time.
