Hi, I know there are only 6 GVs at the BW. Do you have to book them at 11-months out for first week in December or is there a chance we can grab one now for early December...

Has anyone had any "last minute luck"?

You never know until you call, but I would be shocked if there were any still available. I'm quite sure they go quickly once the 11 month window opens.

Perhaps a Friday or Saturday night is still available due to the high cost of points, but I think even those are gone.

All that said, call and see. Hope you get lucky!

The first week of December ('08) is going to be VERY difficult anywhere, in any size unit at this point. That is the lowest points season and, thus, one of the prime times for DVC members to visit WDW. As CarolMN said, it's always worth a phone call, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Thank you - We have a 1-BR booked, but there is a good chance that other family members can go with us. We would love to have them!

I will call tomorrow... if not the GV, then maybe I can waitlist for another 1-BR, 2-BR or Studio.
