BWV for Oct @ 7 months

my wife and I prefer November travel and plan on going the 1st 2 weeks in November, are the 7 month out bookings as tough then as October.

This is good to know that some are getting in to BWV at 7 months. DH and I are doing a long weekend (just the two of us!!) in mid October (not Columbus Day) and we thought we would try either BWV or BCV.

We are booked at BLT so if something is open, we will switch since we are going for F & W. If not, BLT will work out, but it would be nice to just walk. This gives me hope. My 7 month opens in 2 weeks.

Keep the repies coming. I was initially discouraged; but the recent posts are very encouraging!! Either way, we are still happy staying at our home resort.

I called 2/28 and actually got a 1 bdr at BCV at the 7th mth mark...needless to say I am shocked, but happy....this will be my 4th time for opening weekend for F & W and my 2nd Wine & Dine Half Marathon....not sure if the trick is just being ready to call right when they open the lines..or just pixie dust....however, MY Ladies TRIP turned into a family trip and that's why I needed a 1 bdr! LOL

I'm glad to hear so many positive reports. I do think the 1 bedrooms are often more available because they are lock offs and the studios (esp. standard) go quickly. My DD is arriving during our October trip and while I booked my reservation at the 11 month window, I have to use non-home points to book her a room mid trip of ours. I hope I'm as lucky as you guys are. I'm hoping for just a preferred studio for her.

We called this morning and got a 1-br boardwalk view for October 2-7 (we had a 1-br lake view at BLT reserved already and were able to just switch it). First time to stay at BWV for Food and Wine - can't wait!

We'll be there those exact dates in a preferred studio. How lucky are we!?!? I requested Village Green and am waitlisted for a BW view. Regardless, I couldn't be more excited to be at BWV for F & W. My two DDs will be going with me. Our first "girl's trip"!

Had the option of ANY view at BWV and BCV.

I am curious, too. We are currently at OKW 11/9-11/16, but would like to do 11/13-11/16 at BWV standard studio. F&W is done, so I am hoping it will be easier... Sorry to hijack.

That's great..congrats....sounds like the first week of Oct is pretty wide open

Booked a 1-BR for the 5-10th at the 7-month mark, getting the preferred garden/pool view.
Standard view was available for just 4 out of the 5 nights (waitlisted for it)
Boardwalk view available for just 1 night.
Looks like things are booking up a bit more compared to earlier in the month.

Congratulations! Considering that is Columbus Day weekend, you were very lucky!

We got a 2 bedroom preferred garden/pool view last Oct for 10 nights (17-27) at 7 mos. We waitlisted the first night but it was available the next day. Good luck.
