Looking at this map(follow link) - can you tell me which rooms for the Villas are the standard view?

We have standard view for our July 2-9, 2004 vacation 1bdrm and I can kinda figure out that the limegreen villas # starting w/1097 and the peachy color # startingw/1123 are probably them? any others? or am I total off w/what I think are the standard view villas.


We have never stayed at BWV and I was shocked to be able to get a ressie less than 7 months out for standard view - but we can't wait! We are soo looking forward to the BWV experience!

To me there is no bad view @ BWV. You save alot of points using a standardview room. They usually overlook the parking lot. The grounds are so beautiful I doubt you will be dissappointed. I have stayed there many times and have had only 2 prefered view rooms. Save the points and enjoy the resort..

Looking from the front entrance (gray area #8), they would be the pink, purple, green and yellow buildings to the left heading out toward the parking lots. The standard views are ONLY on the side that faces the parking lots.

The main part of standard view is the rose color 1068-1085 and the green 1097-1121, on the side of the hall facing the driveway. Some of the rooms in the 1123-1136 section facing the pond have been considered preferred view, although I got 3123 as a standard. I also got 3002 as a standard, which is down the other end, in the brown 1001 to 1014 section, facing the Swan/Dolphin. These rooms are above the old DVC offices (rectangle area) and may be reclassified as preferred once that building is torn down.

We were in 3125 this past February (which is in the "peachy" section). It was a great standard view. You could see the ToT easily from the balcony. If you use the other entrances and exits besides the main one at the elevators, it was very convenient to things too. Very easy walk to MGm from this room.
