I'm sure someone asked this question and was answered, but since I don't have alot of time to search I was wondering if someone can tell me if the BWV's now have DVD players, and if so. Do they have DVDs at the community hall or must you bring your own? Thanks in advance.

Actually the new units are combos - they have both a DVC and a VHS player. You can check out DVDs and tapes from Community Hall. There is no charge if you are a DVC member. The selection is not the greatest, though.

Best wishes -

I was in a BWV studio (2266) from june 6 - 11 and did not have DVD or VCR. Housekeeping said they would try to find one for me, but I told them not to worry - I didn't need one.

No studios at WDW have DVD or VCR, you need to be in a 1 BR or larger. It would be nice if they would add them to the studios.

I know you could record with the old VCR's inthe rooms. Do the new combo units record also or are they just players?

I sometimes would put in a blank tape and record some of the resort channels.

They do record. When we were there in December, one of the final survivor episodes was on a night we planned to be out. I taped it and watched it later. They are nice Sony models. I always seem to have a problem with the remotes in the 1 bedrooms. I couldn't figure out how to get the menu to setup the timer. Turned out the combo remote was in the bedroom!
