BWV Check-ins

The staff at OKW told similar tales when we were there. One housekeeper I approached (two little kids, never enough toilet tissue...) said they were extremely busy because hundreds were checking in/out right before Thanksgiving. We also spent a first night at Riverside and it was similarly packed -- they told me there that 300 families had checked in the same afternoon I did

The CMS at all the WDW resorts tend to tell these tales. When I checked out of BWV on Nov. 18, the CM from luggage services told me that BWV had over 700 check ins that day and that the resort was almost at full capacity! I did not even have to ask!!!

WOW!! That's truly amazing! I'm afraid that I would have asked about those numbers, since that is such an impressive statistic.

It's a little hard to understand how BWV checked guests into 170 rooms more than their 532 maximum room total ... and yet still weren't at capacity.

They were probably including the Inn in that total.

We checked into BWV last Saturday (Dec 6) and were told it was sold out and all rooms that day were pre-assigned.

Good point DebbieB. Or maybe the CM meant this was the total for check ins and check outs that day or maybe the CM was exaggerating as they are quite known to do.

Even though my name is listed as the originator of this thread, I did NOT start this thread--it was started using my name!!!!!!
It should also be noted that this thread does not include the total content of the first 2 posts that were part of the original thread (some editing took place by someone other than myself before it became it's own thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), but it is still good to hear another person's take/point of view.
