Looking at the map of the BWV....

All the villas are towards the Swan/Dolphin. The building that has room numbers ending 29-66 is where we would like to request a boardwalk view (seems most centrally located). Does anyone know if the rooms around the bend in the middle of the complex are considered boardwalk view? I don't want to have to peak around the corner.

Interested in Boardwalk view as we have two toddlers that will probably be in bed early....hubs and I can get margs or beers and hang on balcony and people watch. Even if its a little louder would be ok, once the kids are out they hear nothing.

The boardwalk view villas are xx01 to xx47/49. We were just in 4001 last week but have always stayed in boardwalk view villas for the past 15 years. The higher numbers after xx49 are technically pool/garden view. You request village green area and you will overlook the grassy area behind the lobby, and have a partial boardwalk view. The view gets better the lower the room number. The downside to that is that you are far from the elevator, although there is a stairway at xx01.

All BW view rooms face Crescent Lake and the boardwalk, not Swan and Dolphin. In the image below they are the rooms along the blue line, odd numbers xx01 - xx51. xx51 rooms are 1 bedrooms on the corner closest to the lobby. All other BW view rooms face the boardwalk directly.

Perfect map, thanks.

I meant the villas are towards the Swan/Dolphin vs the hotel rooms are towards Epcot....not facing. Sorry, it sounded better in my head than it came out.

Thanks again!!

As to that courtyard area where all the rooms face the village green, there are 1BR boardwalk view rooms that are right at the corner just before the building turns and starts facing directly toward the boardwalk and lake. All other rooms in that courtyard area are studios that are pool/garden view. You can go here and see maps of the room sizes in both that courtyard area and the boardwalk: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2931467

We stayed in what I believe was 4013 and we had the most amazing view of the Epcot fireworks. It was great because if the kids were in bed we could sit on the balcony and watch them and if they were awake they got a peek of them too! The walk was long from the pool and the elevator and I was a little dismayed about that until I saw the fireworks. Plus, the kids loved running down the long hall to our room so they could have cared less.

Amazing how they can barely take another step in the parks and then once you get off the elevator they are like Usain Bolt!

=) 4001 is the room we always request. :thumbsup2

We had 3001 once. It is good also. Next to The Attic so you can see what's going on there. Also there's a staircase across the hall for easy access to the side of the boardwalk facing the canal. Works good when you want to jump off the bus or boat at the swan.
