BWV - Best Room Location?

Hey guys - I'm a DVC newbie, and will be making our first trip in October to the BWV. Can you suggest the best location for a room (1-Bedroom). We have 3 little kids, and would like to see Illuminations and all of the action from the room. We do have a Preferred View confirmed. Thanks for your suggestions - I'll call and make the request after checking out the responses.

The only preferred rooms with a view of Illuminations would be boardwalk view. Preferred rooms are now being reserved as either boardwalk or pool/garden. I would call member services and ask which they have you reserved for. If you did not request boardwalk view initially, chances are they have you reserved for pool/garden. You could ask to be waitlisted for boardwalk, but I don't think the chances would be high at this late date. Some of the quiet pool view rooms have a view of MGM & Fantasmic, you may want to request that.

This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. Remember, it is DVC and it is Disney so you really can't go wrong.
