This morning I tried to make reservations for the BWV for the week of Dec. 5, 2004. They were already full. So was the BCV. I am on the waiting list. It seems that others have noticed that the lowest point cost is in Early Dec. and Jan.

I hope the waitlist comes through for you!

Bobbi:D

It is not the point cost that members notice about early Dec it is simply the best time to go to WDW. All the decorations are up for Christmas and the weather is great and there are no crowds, except at DVC. DVC members are much more savvy than the average person about WDW travel. Next time make your reservations for early Dec, at the 11 month window so you will have your reservations all set.

I agree, the lowest point totals combined with Disney being in full holiday swing make for a tempting combination:D

Also, this is the time that they normally shoot the Christmas Parade that is broadcast on TV. Alot of people like to be down there for that.

Early January is also a great time to visit. I went in 2003 and it was vacant compared to the summer or Christmas.

That trip I went on all the kiddie rides as there was no wait. One of the best trips to Disney because of all I was able to accomplish.

Yes, early December is a very popular time with DVC members. We made our ressies day by day for that very reason way back at the 11 month mark.

Did you ask about availability at any of the other DVC resorts for this time period? You might want to book at another DVC resort, if available, just in case the wait list does not come through.

Best bet would be OKW. I would bet that they haven't got a chance at WLV. It fills before anything else because of the awesome decorations!

I think your chance is pretty good if you waitlist day by day, especially it is still beyond the 7 month window when everyone else can book it. Good luck!!!

Disney at holiday time is wonderful!!!!

This time period is also popular for different internet groups to get together and for the annual DVC meetings. I agree with LAT that the wait list will probably come through. Many people go this time every year and book right at 11 months. But, things change over time and not everyone will be able to go this year as planned.
